1. Disk unit process

Disk unit process: refers to the original wire rod purchased by the raw material manufacturer. A disk unit mainly includes the following parameters: A, brand B, product name C, specification D, material E, furnace number or batch number F, quantity or weight.

The main chemical components of carbon steel disc elements are: C, Mn, P, S, Si, Cu, Al, of which the lower the content of Cu and Al, the better.

2. Drawing process

Drawing process: In order to achieve the wire diameter we need (such as drawing to 3.5mm).

3.1, cold heading (head) process

Cold heading (head) process: through the interaction between the molds, so that it is formed, first cut off the wire, upset into the screw blank, forming the head, cross groove (or other head type) thread diameter and rod length, the head under the rounded corner.

Can be designed according to customer needs, commonly used head type for P head, B head, F head, T class commonly used slot type has a cross slot, a slot, a plum slot, hexagonal slot and so on.

3.2, cold heading (head) process

Ordinary screws, to large deformation amount screws

4. Rolling process

Thread rolling process: the cold heading blank is rolled out of thread, and the tooth pattern is formed through the interaction between the movable die plate and the fixed die plate.

5, heat treatment process

01. Purpose:

In order to make the screws after cold heading processing to obtain higher hardness and strength

02. Function:

Realize self-tapping of metal

Improve the mechanical properties of metal parts, such as torsion, tensile, wear resistance

03. Classification:

A. Annealing: (700℃x 4hr) : elongated tissue - regular polygon.

B. carburizing heat treatment (adding carbon elements to metal parts to improve their surface hardness, for metal materials with low carbon content)

C. tempering heat treatment (without adding elements to the metal, changing the internal structure of the metal with temperature changes to get better mechanical properties)

6. Electroplating process

The surface of the product after electroplating can show the desired color effect and surface oxidation resistance coating effect.
